Lang Leav, once said, "to be a poet you must hold nothing back. In poetry, there is no room for ego, nowhere to hide. You must write under the pretense that no one will ever read a single word.".

in this poem, i would try to be true
—————————————

It is strange, and bizarre
in the way a dream unspooled like a love song i've yet heard
but known

you, a seeker i yielded with love awhole,
have finally found your way back to my doorstep
journey mapped in your tired bones
you have circled the world and found the answer where it always been

in the warmth of simple joys, we cherish forevermore

you seeI haven't been able to quiet this heart after that dream
normally i wouldwhen the waves rolled in, i'd simply play "When I Need You"
the intro arise, a line came up and i would close my eyes

you'll be there, always there

i'll be wishing you well, exhaled and went on with my life
butnot today, northe past 3 months since that dream melt this frozen heart awake
my heart, a lighthouse—alight, aglow, calling you back home

do you know we've met in past life, ages ago?
here's the story; we were lovers
you, the shore, and i
 a child of the sea

one day the sea took me back to its arms, leaving you behind
the back i admire, fixated far out to the ocean
the wind swirled in your chest
 longing, yearning, searching
forever bound to the tides and the depth of endless blue

How could we know? that in this life, you would still search
the ancient wind, a question logs in your ribs
for a soul you barely recall, blurred
across the passage of times

how many more lives would you spend searching?
will you recognize me, at last, in this one?

that night, after the dream

i drew this card
a symbol of two soul,
one with grace, the otheruntamed
entwined but devided—mirrored echoes across worlds
each walking their own path, battling their own battles,
weary and longing for a haven to rest
a gaze, a face

my cardsas sharp and unyielding as it always was
whispered words you once said to me:

"may the stars fall upon our skies again, one day"

you see—the stars has speckled my skies, yet yours remained shrouded
why?
because the divine is precise in its giving,
and heavy cloud
will part for a very good child

if this words reach you, would you meet me halfway?
Would you
remember and strive, on a promise we once hold true?
"let's get better, together", we vowed, we became
Would it be your aim as it is mine?

and perhaps only then,
our whispered wishes will be awarded
two worlds collide,
as destined as the divine allowed
be it in whatever form it may take,
I’d simply rejoice to have you in my life again

May you are always be blessed through and through,
my soulmate, my friend.
